	Cool Storage Taylor Corporation LTD has recently invested in two brand new storage facilities to accommodate the steadily growing volumes of fruit being packed at our site. At over 115 meters long and 30 meters wide, the main Air Store facility can accommodate 20,000 bins of fruit.
In 2002 a Controlled Atmosphere store room was built on our site which has allowed us to run a flexible and efficient delayed packing program, without the need to rely on hiring space at off site locations.

The Controlled Atmosphere store is made up of six separate rooms each of which can accommodate up to 860 bins of fruit, totaling 5,000 bins of fruit.

Controlled Atmosphere virtually halts the fruits natural respiration “breathing” and puts it in a state of hibernation. When apples are removed from Controlled Atmosphere the normal life cycle continues.
